The Diary Game August 8, 2026 : A Busy Day at Our Rice Wholesale Business

As usual, my day started in the morning with a simple but refreshing routine. After waking up, I freshened up and did a little exercise before having breakfast. I try to maintain this habit regularly because I believe that keeping our body healthy is essential for living a happy and productive life.After finishing my exercise, I had my breakfast and then headed to our family business — our wholesale rice warehouse.

A Busy Morning at the Rice Warehouse

I arrived at the warehouse around 10:00 AM and continued my business activities until approximately 3:00 PM.Throughout the day, many different customers visited our warehouse. Some came to purchase rice according to their requirements, while others came for wholesale transactions. I spent the morning handling customers, managing sales and purchases, and taking care of our regular business activities.

A Little Rain Slowed Down the Market

One of the notable parts of today's day was the weather.From around 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, there was light drizzle. Because of the rain, the number of customers in the market was slightly lower than usual. Naturally, people were less willing to move around during that period.

After the rain stopped, however, the situation gradually returned to normal. The sky became bright and clear, and beautiful sunshine appeared.The combination of the freshly washed roads, bright sunlight, and the busy market created a beautiful atmosphere.

After the rain stopped, some fresh rice from another one of our warehouses was brought to our main warehouse.Then the unloading process began.The workers carefully unloaded the heavy rice sacks and arranged them inside the warehouse. Some of the photographs I captured today show these hardworking people carrying and moving the heavy sacks of rice.

As a business owner, we often focus on the products and transactions, but behind every successful business there are hardworking people whose efforts make everything possible. Their contribution is truly an important part of our daily business activities.

Many of you may be interested in knowing today's wholesale rice prices. So, I am sharing the approximate prices of the different varieties available at our warehouse today.

Today's wholesale price was ৳1,950 for 25 kg, equivalent to approximately 432.4 STEEM based on the exchange rate mentioned above.Overall, today's wholesale rice prices ranged from around ৳1,080 to ৳1,950 per 25 kg, depending on the variety and grade.

Returning Home After Business

After spending the day at the warehouse until the afternoon, I finally returned home.After reaching home, I took a refreshing shower and had my lunch. Since I had been busy with business activities throughout the morning and afternoon, I was feeling a little tired.So, after lunch, I took a short nap to refresh both my body and mind.Sometimes, even a little rest can give us the energy we need to continue the rest of the day.

Getting My Mother's Phone Repaired

Later in the afternoon, before evening, I went to a mobile phone servicing shop.Actually, today's visit was for my mother. Unfortunately, the display of my mother's mobile phone had been broken, so I took the phone to the service center to have the display replaced.After some time, the display was successfully replaced and the phone was working properly again.The total cost of replacing the display was ৳1,700, which is approximately 376.9 STEEM according to today's STEEM value mentioned above.

For me, this was not simply an expense. Being able to take care of something my mother needed is something that makes me happy. From starting the morning with exercise and breakfast, to spending several hours at our wholesale rice warehouse, meeting customers, managing sales and purchases, experiencing the light rain, seeing the market become quieter, and then watching everything become lively again after the rain every moment became a part of my day.The arrival of fresh rice from our other warehouse, the unloading of heavy rice sacks, and the hard work of the workers also reminded me how much effort goes into running a business every single day.

Then, after returning home, having lunch and taking a little rest, I spent the afternoon taking care of my mother's broken phone.Not every day has to be extraordinary. Sometimes, the simple moments of an ordinary day become our most beautiful memories.
