Another Game, Another Experience || SteemHop Game ||

Sometimes the entire day passes in work. The one doesn't even realize when it's time to rest. So when I found a little spare time. I thought I’d play a game for a while. Then share the experience with all of you. When I opened the game, I initially intended to play for just a few minutes. Then I got so engrossed that I ended up playing for quite a long time.

To start things off I collected my daily login reward. It’s a small reward. Well it feels good to kick off the game by already having some points in the bag. After that, I gave the spin wheel a go. I didn't have high expectations, as the outcome can vary sometimes you get a good haul of points, and other times, very few. But today, I was delighted with the result. Collecting coins lifted my mood. I felt like the game was off to a promising start. Then I began the actual gameplay. This making a conscious effort not to rush right from the beginning. At first the levels seemed quite easy. The objective was simply to move the character forward. Collect coins along the path and dodge obstacles. However when I progressed. The game became increasingly challenging. There were moments where precise timing for jumps was crucial. If I jumped too early. I risked colliding with an obstacle. If I waited too long. I’d miss out on a coin. Consequently I had to pay close attention to every move I made.

That’s what I love about this game playing fast isn't enough on its own. Sometimes you have to pause to see what’s coming up next. Then decide exactly when to jump. I made plenty of mistakes early on, too a couple of times. I acted too hastily. The outcome wasn't great. But then I tried again. I sought to understand my mistake. Succeeding at the same spot feels truly rewarding. Well it suggests I’ve learned something from the previous error.

After playing a few rounds. My confidence began to grow. Obstacles that seemed daunting at first didn't appear quite as difficult later on. I started to gauge where it was best to jump. Where it was wiser to wait a moment. Even so, I avoided rushing. Well knowing that a single slip up could ruin the entire round. Sometimes you have to take a risk to grab a coin. While at other times, it’s better to leave it behind and move on. That was the most interesting aspect of the game for me today. Well our life is also just like that guys.

When I played, I kept an eye on my progress to see how far I had come. When you perform slightly better than before. It naturally makes you want to try again. I feel the real joy of the game lies in attempting something new each time. It doesn't always have to be a massive improvement. Just collecting a few extra coins, clearing a tricky obstacle. Simply getting a little further than before these are all positive steps.

My session today went just like that. I had only opened the game for a short while. Well I got so engrossed that I ended up playing several rounds. I had my share of successes and mistakes. Well I loved having the chance to try again after every round. It keeps the game from becoming boring and keeps you thinking about how to play even better next time.

Now my goal is to surpass todays performance the next time I play. I want to collect more coins. I clear obstacles more effectively. I improve upon my previous progress. Lets see how far SteemHop takes me next time. Sometimes even a simple game can lift one's mood during a busy day. That is exactly what happened to me today.
