One Small Decision Made My SteemHop Session Better

My first round was not good. I made very simple mistake. I jumped too early. Game finished. For few seconds I only look at screen. Then I smiled. I have done this mistake many times before. So I was not angry. I started again. This time I change one thing. I told myself not to think about score. I only want to enjoy this game. This small decision help me. I was feeling more easy. My timing became better. I was crossing obstacles one after another. I was not perfect but I was playing much better than before.

One thing I really enjoy in SteemHop is that every game feels fresh. Even if I play ten rounds. Every round has different story. Sometimes luck helps. Sometimes one small mistake ends everything. That surprise keeps this game interesting. There was one funny moment today. I almost hit an obstacle. I thought it was over. But somehow I survived. I even laughed because I had already accepted defeat in my mind. After that I became more careful. Slowly my score started getting better. It was not my highest score. I was happy.

I do not always want to make a record. I just want to become little better than yesterday. Later I check my leaderboard. I was on 38 rank. Some players have really big scores. Honestly they are doing amazing. Instead of feeling bad I felt inspire.
They also lost many games before reaching there. That thought gave me hope. Reward system is also something I like. It gives players extra motivation. Of course rewards are always nice. But I think the real reward is enjoying this game and learning from every round.

Today I noticed another thing. Whenever I become nervous, I lose very quickly. Whenever I stay calm, I play much longer. It sounds simple. But it is true. This lesson is useful outside the game too. Life also becomes easier when we stop rushing. I played many rounds today. Some lasted only few seconds. Some went really well. Every game taught me something. That is why I never feel my time is wasted.

Funny enough that became my best round of the day. I close game with a smile.
- See you again in my next SteemHop adventure. I invite to invite my friends @sadaf02 , @akareen and @elsa-queen .
I also want to appreciate SteemHop team (@afzalqamar , @steemchiller and @stmpak.wit ) for creating this nice game for the Steem community. Games like SteemHope increase engagement and give users a reason to stay active.
