My friend and I both really enjoy going out whether it’s to explore places or simply to run small errands and do some shopping. Although our daily busy schedules often get in the way, we try to head out whenever we can. I have very few friends here in the city of Chittagong; while I know many people, I only have one or two close friends.
Today, while picking up my eldest son from school, I made a plan with one of my friends (many people on this platform are already familiar with her) to go out together after lunch. The idea is to wander around a bit and pick up a few things we need.

After leaving home, I waited for a while in front of my friend’s place. She isn’t always great at sticking to a schedule, whereas I, on the other hand, am always punctual so I ended up waiting there for her.
Once she arrived, we took a rickshaw to 'Arnab' a showroom near Dewanji Pukur Par in Chittagong. It’s a place that offers an extensive collection of both local and imported cosmetics, sarees, and various types of clothing. However, upon arriving, we found the shop extremely crowded. Because of the heavy rush, we couldn't stay long; we quickly finished our necessary shopping and left.

After leaving the showroom, I took a rickshaw and headed to Teribazar. In Teribazar, there is a specific shop where I get my burqas and other garments stitched. The tailor does an excellent job, though I do have some complaints regarding his punctuality in delivering the burqas or shalwar kameez sets. Nevertheless, because he provides such a neat finish to his work, I keep returning to him.

It After leaving the tailor’s shop, my friend and I headed to the Mall 24 Shopping Center in Teribazar. First, my friend looked for shirts and T-shirts for her husband. Afterward, we visited a cosmetics shop to buy hair bands for ourselves. We found several lovely hair bands and hair clips there; although the hair bands were quite expensive, they were very attractive. Eventually, we bought a few hair clips and left Teribazar.

Once we finished our shopping, we took an auto-rickshaw to head home, but we encountered heavy traffic on the road. We had left Teribazar around 7:30 PM, but because it was a Thursday, the traffic congestion in the Patharghata area was particularly severe. As a result, it was nearly 10:00 PM by the time we reached home.
Sitting in the auto-rickshaw for such a long time left both my friend and me feeling quite frustrated. Upon arriving home, we freshened up, had dinner, and then went to bed.
