Community Curator Application for November 2026

A Brief Summary of My History on Steem

My journey on Steemit started in 2020. Since then, I have had many opportunities to learn, contribute to the platform, and connect with people from different countries.

Over the years, I have participated in blogging, community activities, contests, curation, and engagement. Reading other Steemians' posts and interacting with them has helped me improve my writing, explore new topics, and better understand the importance of supporting quality content.

Steem has become more than just a place to publish my own posts. It has given me the opportunity to learn about blockchain, develop my skills, and build connections with people who share different experiences and perspectives.

I have also tried to remain involved in curation and community activities. I believe good curation means more than finding popular posts. It also means recognizing genuine effort, encouraging new and active users, and helping original content reach a wider audience.

Positions of Responsibility I Have Held on Steem

I have had the opportunity to serve in different community roles on Steem, which has helped me gain practical experience in community management and curation.

I previously worked as a moderator in the Steem Bangladesh community and also gained moderation experience in the CCS and Steem for Tradition communities. Currently, I am a moderator of the Story On Steem community.

Through these responsibilities, I have helped organize contests, review entries, communicate with participants, and support community activities. I have also worked as a community curator with Steemcurator 03, 04, 06, 07, 08, and 09.

These experiences have taught me to review content carefully, recognize quality contributions, and use voting power responsibly. They have also helped me understand the importance of fairness and consistency when selecting posts for curation.

I believe my previous experience will help me contribute positively to the Community Curator program.

Specialist or Professional Skills and Expertise in Real Life

I have completed my Master's degree in Zoology. My academic background has given me knowledge of animals and the natural world, and I enjoy content related to nature and the environment.

Photography is another interest of mine. I enjoy capturing everyday moments, places, and surroundings, and I continue to improve my photography skills through practice.

I have also completed basic computer courses and have knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel. These skills are useful for writing, organizing information, and carrying out online community activities.

Country and Languages

I live in Bangladesh.

Bengali is my mother tongue, and I can read, write, and communicate fluently in Bengali. I can also comfortably read and write English and regularly use it on Steem.

Therefore, I can review and engage with content in both Bengali and English.

I am also willing to translate posts written in other languages so I can understand their content and engage with authors from different parts of the world. I believe this will help me discover more quality content and connect with a wider range of Steem users.

I believe language should not be a barrier to discovering quality content and building meaningful connections within the Steem community.

My Key Stats

Own Steem Power: 33,596.83 SP
Effective Steem Power: 27,539.21 SP

Delegations: 6,057.61 SP

Note: These are my latest provided figures and should be refreshed before publication if they have changed.

Subjects I Particularly Enjoy Curating

I enjoy discovering quality content across different subjects rather than limiting my curation to just one category.

Some of the topics I particularly enjoy are:

Personal stories and Diary Game posts
Travel and photography
Steem Atlas posts
Nature and the environment
Creative writing
Art and handmade creations
Food and recipes
Informative and educational content
Meaningful comments and community engagement

I also pay attention to comments because I believe meaningful engagement is an important part of a healthy community. A thoughtful comment can encourage an author, start an interesting discussion, and help build stronger connections between Steemians.

As a curator, I would make an effort to explore different communities and discover quality posts from both familiar and less familiar authors. I believe curation should be based on originality, effort, relevance, and overall quality rather than simply selecting posts from people we already know.

Why I Would Like to Be a Community Curator

Being a Community Curator is an important responsibility, and I would be grateful for another opportunity to contribute to the Steem ecosystem.

My previous experience in community moderation, contest organization, and curation has helped me understand the time and care required for this role. If selected for November 2026, I will do my best to remain active, review posts carefully, and support genuine, original, and quality content across Steem.

I will also follow the Steemit Team's guidelines, use my voting power responsibly, and work fairly with my fellow curators. I would especially like to discover deserving authors and meaningful contributions from across the platform.

Thank you to the Steemit Team for continuing to provide opportunities for community members to contribute to the curation program.

Thank you for reading my application.
