SVM Testnet Milestone: Proposal 2 Passed & v0.0.4 Upgrade Scheduled
The most important news of this update is that Proposal 2 has officially passed and a specific block height has been set for the v0.0.4 security & hardening upgrade of the SVM testnet.
I told you about our proposal two last time. Proposal 2 of the SVM has now officially passed. The coordinated v0.0.4 security upgrade has been approved through this proposal.
As a result, the network is still working quite well and it is working quite well without any kind of problem. In addition, the time it takes to create blocks here is also working as before and everything here is working quite well as before.
- v0.0.4 Security Upgrade
This is a state-breaking upgrade. That is, when it reaches a specific block, it will halt to execute the chain upgrade. It will maintain security very well and everything is running very well so far and is not facing any kind of issues
- Next big milestone after the upgrade Sherpa Protocol
Once v0.0.4 is successfully deployed and the network starts normal block production again, the SVM team's next big goal is: Sherpa Protocol smart contracts deployment.
This is an important milestone for the SVM ecosystem, as it plans to bring native DeFi, trading and liquidity features to SVM.
SVM is still in the testnet phase. So the STEEM, transactions and generated tokens on the testnet are only used for testing and have no real-world monetary value.
Very soon we will release it publicly and from there you will be able to do everything and you will understand everything well after watching it very carefully and we are using it only for testing.
