Assalamu Alaikum
In the realms of pop culture, thrillers, and psychological dramas, characters wearing mysterious masks have always held a unique allure. When a portrait is crafted by breaking down facial features into precise geometric polygons, the result becomes far deeper, more intriguing, and more compelling than conventional art. This geometric—or "polygon"—art style relies on the calculated placement of every line, lending the piece a highly sophisticated and artistic quality. Inspired by the concept of a mysterious, hooded figure with a face structured like a geometric mesh, I created this new illustration. The deep shadows of the hood, the geometric mask, and the character’s solemn expression are the core highlights of this piece.
Using a pencil on white paper, I sketched the hooded figure and mapped out a precise grid of geometric lines—forming a triangular mesh—around the face. This allowed for the accurate proportioning of the eyes, nose, and lips within the geometric framework.
After cleaning up the initial, rough pencil lines, I finalized the outline (line art). During this stage, I clearly defined the borders of the hood and the precise contours of every individual polygon—or geometric triangle—that makes up the face.
I filled the hood and the character’s attire with solid, deep black and shades of gray. This establishes a dark background theme, allowing the geometric face in the foreground to stand out brilliantly.
Base shading in light and medium shades of grey has been applied to the geometric polygons of the face. This shading creates significant depth, effectively capturing the variations of light across each geometric segment.
Precise shadows and highlights have been added to the facial mask to achieve a metallic, 3D appearance. By creating a perfect balance between light and shadow, I have completed this mysterious, geometric mask portrait. Today's discussion concludes here. I hope you've found it interesting. Please share your thoughts on today's topic. Prayers for everyone. May everyone be well. Amen.

Lo que aprendí de tu proceso es que el paso 3, al rellenar la capucha con negro profundo, hace que la malla geométrica sobresalga sin vueltas. La vida me enseñó que el contraste claro es la mejor luz para cualquier obra.
