My Birthday Celebration on a different level!

My birthday this year was more than just a celebration of another year added to my life. It was a beautiful reminder of how blessed I am, how much love surrounds me, and how God can make an ordinary day feel so special.

The day started on a sweet note when my friend brought a cake for me in the morning before I left the house. Honestly, that simple act meant so much to me. There is something about a friend's love that words can hardly explain. It is in the little things she does, the thoughtfulness, the care, and the joy of seeing her friend happy. Having that moment with her before stepping out made my birthday morning even more beautiful.

But what made the day more meaningful was that I wasn't just going out to celebrate myself. I was heading to De-Ivys School for a Girl Child Programme, where I was privileged to be one of the invited speakers. I had the opportunity to speak to young girls, share some thoughts with them, and hopefully leave them with words that would encourage them to believe in themselves, understand their worth, and take their future seriously.

My colleagues got me wowed by sending me this flyer on my birthday. I wasn’t expecting it, and it came with a package.

Looking back, I find it beautiful that I spent part of my birthday doing something meaningful. It reminded me that life is not only about receiving love and celebrating our personal achievements; it is also about giving, inspiring others, and being useful wherever God places us. Being part of that programme was a gift in itself, and I am grateful for the opportunity.

And then came the love from my people! My social media platforms were filled with birthday wishes, prayers, kind words, and beautiful messages from true friends. Some messages made me smile, some touched my heart deeply, and others reminded me that genuine friendship is still a beautiful thing. I felt seen, remembered, appreciated, and celebrated in ways I cannot fully explain.

Item-7 wasn’t left out for me, its one of those things that comes with birthdays. Of course no birthday without the food and trust me, this is not your regular 😋.

To everyone who took a moment out of their day to celebrate me, thank you. Every message, prayer, post, and kind word meant something to me. You made me feel special, and I do not take that love for granted.

As I step into another year, my heart is full of gratitude to God for life, growth, opportunities, and the people He has placed around me. I am not claiming to have everything figured out, but I am thankful for how far I have come and hopeful about where I am going.

This birthday was a beautiful blend of a friend's love, purposeful service, genuine friendship, and God's goodness. And for all of it, I am truly grateful. ❤️🎂
