Concurso Fotográfico | Edición #104: «Desde donde estoy»

Hay lugares que vemos todos los días y, precisamente por eso, dejamos de prestarles atención.

❍ La ventana de tu casa.

❍ La calle por la que sales cada mañana.

❍ El camino al trabajo.

❍ La vista desde un autobús.

❍ Un parque cercano.

❍ Ese rincón donde acostumbras sentarte un rato.

Forman parte de tu rutina y de la mía y pocas veces pensamos en fotografiarlos.

Esta semana quiero proponerte algo diferente.

No tendrás que salir a buscar un lugar extraordinario ni esperar que ocurra algo especial.

Solo tendrás que detenerte, mirar a tu alrededor y mostrarnos qué ves desde donde estás.

Edición #104 — «Desde donde estoy»

La propuesta parece sencilla, pero creo que puede regalarnos fotografías muy diferentes.

Quiero que cada participante nos muestre un pedacito del lugar donde transcurre su vida.

Ustedes deciden.

No estoy buscando necesariamente la fotografía del lugar más bonito.

Me interesa mucho más descubrir qué llamó tu atención y por qué decidiste fotografiar precisamente eso.

Porque seguramente dos personas pueden estar paradas en el mismo lugar y no mirar hacia el mismo sitio.

Y ahí comienza la fotografía.

Ahora quiero mirar desde tu lugar

Para participar quiero que hagas una fotografía tomada especialmente para esta edición y nos cuentes brevemente:

¿Dónde estabas?

¿Qué estabas viendo?

Y, sobre todo...

¿Por qué elegiste esa imagen para mostrarnos “desde donde estoy”?

No hace falta inventar una gran historia.

A veces lo cotidiano también tiene mucho que contar cuando alguien se detiene a observarlo.

Quiero agradecer especialmente el apoyo prestado por @steemcurator01, que nos anima a seguir trabajando para fortalecer esta iniciativa y dar un nuevo impulso a la participación.

Por ello, seguimos brindando mejores incentivos. Además de premiar las mejores fotografías, seguimos premiando a quienes enriquecen el concurso con sus comentarios.

Quiero seguir impulsando algo que considero importante: participar no debería ser solamente publicar y desaparecer.

Detrás de cada fotografía hay una persona que eligió detenerse, observar y compartir algo con nosotros.

Por eso los dos mejores comentarios realizados en las publicaciones de otros participantes recibirán 2.5 STEEM cada uno.

No buscamos comentarios como “bonita foto”, “excelente participación” o frases colocadas únicamente para cumplir.

Queremos leer comentarios que demuestren que realmente visitaron la publicación, observaron la fotografía y leyeron la historia que la acompaña.

Tiempo para participar

Tendremos una semana para descubrir qué están viendo desde distintos rincones de Steemit.

Y esto es quizás lo que más curiosidad me produce de esta edición.

Podemos estar separados por cientos o miles de kilómetros y, durante unos minutos, una fotografía puede permitirnos mirar desde el lugar de otra persona.

Así que esta vez no voy a pedirles que busquen demasiado.

Simplemente deténganse.

Miren a su alrededor.

Quizás eso que ven todos los días y que ya casi no notan sea precisamente la fotografía que estamos esperando.

There are places we see every day, and precisely because of that, we stop paying attention to them.

They’re part of your routine and mine, and we rarely think to photograph them.

This week, I want to suggest something different.

You won’t have to go out looking for an extraordinary place or wait for something special to happen.

You’ll just have to stop, look around, and show us what you see from where you are.

Issue #104 — “From Where I Stand”

The challenge seems simple, but I think it can yield some very different photos.

I want each participant to show us a little piece of the place where their life unfolds.

You decide.

I’m not necessarily looking for a photo of the prettiest place.

I’m much more interested in discovering what caught your attention and why you decided to photograph exactly that.

Because surely two people can be standing in the same spot and not looking in the same direction.

And that’s where photography begins.

Now I want to see things from your perspective

To participate, I want you to take a photo specifically for this edition and briefly tell us:

Where were you?

What were you looking at?

And, above all…

Why did you choose that image to show us “From Where I Stand”?

There’s no need to make up a grand story.

Sometimes the everyday also has a lot to say when someone stops to observe it.
