Sunlight: Champa is a plant that requires abundant sunlight. It needs at least 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight daily; the better the sunlight exposure, the more vibrant the flower colors and the greater the number of blooms. Watering: Water the plant regularly during summer and the flowering season, but ensure there is no waterlogging in the pot or ground. Excessive watering can cause root rot. Water again only when the top layer of the soil feels dry.

As the plant grows and blooms, it requires nutrients. Apply organic fertilizer, vermicompost, or a phosphorus-potassium-rich fertilizer once a month to support flower development. Pruning: The Champa plant does not require heavy pruning; however, periodically remove any dry or weak branches. This improves the plant's shape and encourages the growth of new branches. Pest Control: The plant can sometimes be affected by mealybugs. If you notice an infestation, spray neem oil to keep the plant protected.
