My Quiet Encounter with Plumeria alba

Some plants make you stop without asking for your attention. Plumeria alba is one of them.
I came across this plant today and what caught my attention first was not even the whole plant, but the flowers. The white petals and yellow centre give it a very simple appearance, yet the fragrance makes it much more noticeable.
I sometimes find myself looking at plants differently. A flower that may seem ordinary to someone else can make me wonder about its structure, pollination, adaptation, and why humans have continued to grow and appreciate it for generations.

Plumeria alba is commonly grown as an ornamental plant in tropical and subtropical regions. Its flowers are also culturally important in different parts of the world, and the plant has been associated with gardens, ceremonies and traditional practices.

What I particularly like about plants such as this is that they don't have to be rare or exotic to be interesting. Sometimes, it is the familiar plants around us that we overlook the most.
This was one of those moments when I simply stopped, looked at the flower, and appreciated the plant for what it is.
