Moon Photography

I took this shot in the evening hour of today after visiting a friend and going back home. That was around 8pm and I noticed the moon appeared from a quiet friend angle.

It showed up from the north west and gradually moved to the south west. Surprisingly, it was just a quarter moon. I haven't noticed its size nor position for a couple days now until today. My camera made it look as though it's a full moon.
