Using AI To Analyze Fantasy Football Picks
We're heading into week 4 of the football season and that means it is time to pick the team for the coming week. So far, AI (Gemini 3.8 Flash) has done decently well with some handholding around obviously wrong information. Here's where I stand in the public leagues:

Given the 10.6 million players at the moment, a position of 2.8 million places us roughly around the top 25% mark. Not too bad but it isn't anywhere near the top to be sure.
Value of AI
And I think that's really where we are with AI right now. If you allow it to run blind, it gets you into the top 25-30% right off the bat. But if you're looking at top of the line performance, skilled humans are able to outperform it. Of course, these are with specialized, individual tasks. The one thing that AI truly excels over humans is the ability to handle tasks at an unimaginable scale.
The substitution for this week
It's the big Manchester derby so we're substituting Bruno for Morgan Rogers. The other recommended player was Liverpool's Szboslai but Morgan Rogers was cheaper so I went for him. Also, Liverpool had a tough midweek game and I thought he might be tired. Let's see how this plays out!
