Fisherman’s Cove – A Little Taste of Nova Scotia ⚓️🌊
One of our favourite discoveries near Halifax has been Fisherman’s Cove in Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia. Just a short journey from Halifax, this charming 200-year-old restored fishing village feels like stepping into another time.
The colourful wooden buildings along the waterfront make the perfect backdrop for photos, while the little independent shops, galleries and cafés give the place a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. Walking along the boardwalk, we watched the fishing boats in the harbour and enjoyed the fresh sea air.
What makes Fisherman’s Cove even better is that it’s not just about sightseeing. There are plenty of places to stop for seafood, ice cream or coffee, and the nearby MacCormacks Beach is perfect for extending your walk.
For us, it was one of those places where there was no need to rush — just wander, enjoy the views and soak up the Maritime atmosphere. A lovely little escape from Halifax! 🇨🇦
