A space to be!!!
I think we should all have a space of our own a space where we can exist without any filter, without having to think about how we are being perceived or whether what we are saying is acceptable to someone else. A space where we don’t have to hide certain thoughts, soften our feelings, or pretend that everything is fine. Sometimes, we carry so many thoughts inside us that we don’t even realize how heavy they have become. We keep thinking, analyzing, explaining, and trying to make sense of everything, while never giving ourselves a moment to simply put everything down. I think we need a place where we can do exactly that where we can let our thoughts exist without judging them, understand our feelings without being ashamed of them, and give ourselves permission to just breathe. It can feel like climbing a mountain for a long time and finally reaching the top, only to find a beautiful sunset waiting in front of us. We sit there, exhausted but peaceful, take a deep breath, and for a moment, nothing needs to be solved.
And the beautiful thing is that we can create this space ourselves, because no one knows us as deeply as we know ourselves. It doesn’t have to be a particular place or even a particular person. It can be talking to someone who makes us feel lighter instead of heavier. It can be sitting alone for a while, having an honest conversation with ourselves, and listening to the thoughts we usually try to escape from. It can be writing everything down until our mind feels a little quieter. Writing without worrying about whether it makes sense, whether someone will read it, or whether we are expressing ourselves correctly. It can be painting and letting the things we cannot put into words appear on a canvas. It can be writing or listening to a ghazal that somehow says what we couldn’t. It can be taking a long walk and allowing our thoughts to wander without forcing them in any particular direction. Sometimes, we don’t need advice or solutions. We just need somewhere to release what we have been carrying. And having that space doesn’t mean running away from our problems. It means giving ourselves enough room to understand them without being completely consumed by them. I think we should protect this space, too. Not everything has to be shared with everyone, and not every thought needs an audience. Some parts of us need privacy not because they are wrong, but because they are ours. Maybe this space will look different for everyone. For some, it might be nature. For others, music, writing, art, prayer, a quiet room, a long drive, a walk, or one person they can be completely honest with. Whatever it is, we should have something that allows us to take off all the mental weight for a while to stop performing, stop explaining, stop overthinking, and simply exist. We deserve a space where we can leave our thoughts at the door, take a deep breath, and feel like ourselves again.

Every word of your post speaks to me deeply about how pure and relevant your thoughts are. I can proudly say that you are the place you are looking for, kind, safe, and gentle. Honestly, it feels comfortable to talk.
Whenever you comment like this on any of my posts, it makes me feel like, “Yeah, there’s someone who truly understands these thoughts of mine.”
