Cherry Tomatoes - From seeds to beautiful fruits now!

in WorldBites • 4 hours ago

It’s already been more than 6 months that I am trying to get a nice and healthy cherry tomatoes plant…

The first time, I just couldn’t grow the plants, they died at early stages!

Then the second try, I managed to grow it up but got only 4 tomatoes in a plant!!!

Getting Experience Now!

Learning here and there and also from advices from my brother in law and mom, this time I managed to grow 6 healthy plants…

And they are all bearing tomatoes!

Cut off maximum leaves…

This was the turning point in having so many tomatoes this time.

I trimmed the plant and kept only the main stem go…

This makes sense, as we want tomatoes, not leaves!

Patience is key…

I still remember when I was planting the seeds…

All the care and patience I put into, until I found the flowers coming out!!!

This is magical feeling!

Will be even better next time!

I will plant some more seeds today itself, and now that I learned a lot on cherry tomatoes plants, I will grow them much better…

My goal is to have big grape of tomatoes…like we see in farms and greenhouses!

Difficult but not impossible!

I hope by next year I can produce some big grapes with around 15-20pcs of tomatoes on each!

Right now we are getting around 6-7 per grape…

Tomatoes are so delicate...: Please water me well! But not too much, or I'll rot! Please give me lots of sun! But not for too long, or I'll get sunburned! Please fertilize me well! But not too much, or I'll grow lots of green leaves but no fruit!... If only they weren't so delicious... ;-))
