My Passion for Pastry

Some days ago, I talked about going to pastry class and owning my own pastry business one day. Like, like a joke, I am becoming perfect at making cake, donuts, meat pie, fish roll, bread and several other which I have learn how to make.

My classes during the week are usually on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The good thing about the pastry academy called white Dish Culinary Academy that I am going to in Abuja is that everything is done both practically and theoretically in the Academy.

All students are mandated to carry out their practicals themselves both in class and when they get home. When a student gets home and is to attend class the next day, the student would have to submit the practical that she made at home; by doing so, the teachers and the pastry chef in the Academy will look at the practicals of every student and grade them.

Also, students would have to discuss their challenges with the pastry chef officer in charge of all students' practicals. While at home, I made Chocolate cake and took it to class. At our previous class, we were told to make chocolate cake at home and bring it to class, which I did.

I made it at night, and I found it stressful, which I thought wouldn't be nice because of how tired I was at the time of preparing the chocolate cake. Among all the students that made the same chocolate cake it was my own that turns out to be the best which I was given an acholate.
