Pets are loving animals, and seeing them makes me feel happy and want to have them or be around them, even if they are not mine. The one thing that I love about pets is that they have a special way of bringing happiness into our lives, which I have experienced with my landlord's pet several times.

This is my landlord's dog, Smart, who has made me love dogs because of how he makes me laugh, keeps me company, and follows me around, which I see as not just an animal but as part of my friends and companions.

Because I am so close to the dog, people who don't know do think it is mine, and my landlord does think I have never had a pet, which I have never owned a pet that I could truly call my own pet. Today, if I had the opportunity to have a pet, it would be a dog.

Since childhood, I have always admired dogs and wished to have a very cute dog because of their intelligence, playful nature, and loyalty. I like dogs more because having a dog at home can be a wonderful companion for me. What I like most about dogs is that I can train the dog to act the way I want him to behave.

Last month, I thought of buying a small dog that I can raise from a young age to behave the way I would want him to behave. I thought of a meaningful name to give the dog, and I also plan to save money and think about how I would take good care of the dog, provide healthy food, and making sure the dog receives proper medical attention, and spend time playing and bonding with the dog.

Right now, I am just imagining myself coming home after a stressful day and being welcomed by my lovely dog, happily wagging its tail and running towards me. Sometimes when I sit down close to my landlord's dog, a thought would just flow into my mind telling me that pets can also provide us with some kind of companionship.

I am sure that I would take countless pictures with my pet and document its growth from day 1 when I would start taking care of it, how I went out with it, and the funny moments that we both shared each day.

For me, having a pet like a dog is far beyond owning an animal because of my closeness to dogs. I strongly believe that there will be a day when I will have the opportunity to own a pet 🐕 of my own, where I can have a special bond with the pet. It could even be this year, and I plan to own one this year when I am done traveling from one place to another, because I want a situation where I would be spending more time with my pet.
