I really value your perspective on dogs as pets. Even though you don't have one of your own, you treat your landlord's charming dog as if he were yours; you see him as a friendly, affectionate companion who follows you everywhere.
Having a dog as a pet is truly a wonderful experience; that is certainly the case for me. They become part of the family something truly special on an emotional level.
