AI Takes Your Content

Do you have a website?

I've updated mine with the following statement. AI companies are benefiting a lot from content creators hard work. They need to make contracts with us, not steal our content for their profit.

Do I think they'll honor this? No. But now I have a public statement so that in the future I can say that this is my policy as of 8/17/2026. It may be the basis for upcoming and future lawsuits.

I recommend all content creators to add something like this to their legal and privacy policies.

"For AI companies, you do not have my permission to use my content for your AI programs without obtaining prior approval in writing from me.

Along with proper compensation for my work, you would be expected to clearly cite in your AI summaries any content you used. For example, "Jim Tolles at spiritualawakeningprocess.com states that..." would be expected. A small link is overlooked by readers."
