A really slick E-Car and a completely ridiculous one

E-cars are all the rage in Vietnam at the moment and this is mostly because of the fact that one of Asia's largest e-car manufacturers is based out of Vietnam.

I have lived over in Vietnam when the world was talking about Teslas and Bolts so this is all relatively new for me.

VinFast is a pretty large company that has been making cars that were first petrol-based and overseen by BMW and now they have moved into the E-car industry and at least in Vietnam, it has been really successful.

They have a unique style to them and recently I saw one of the sexiest ones I have ever seen.

based on the size of this thing I can't say for sure that this is actually an electric car, but VinFast is the manufacturer of it. That's for certain.

The body of it kind of reminds me of a Subaru WRX and I always liked those cars. I nearly bought one many years ago and I am glad I didn't because it was an excessively expensive car at the time. Now I live life without a car and I feel that life is better because of it.

Next up, we have something that I believe it taking tiny cars a bit too far.

I don't know what this is but to me it looks kind of sad. It looks like the car is sad. With barely enough space for a person to fit inside of it I suppose the roof rack for storage was necessary.

Maybe this is one of those really cheap Chinese BYD's or something because that is not the VinFast logo on the front of it.

I have a friend here that is over 2 meters tall and we constantly joke about how funny it would be if he drove one of these his response to me sending him this photo was "the good thing about that car would be that if I can't park it, I can always just pick it up and set it on the sidewalk."

I'm all about efficiency, especially in an area like this one where there are far too many cars on the roads anyway but this is going too far. This thing just looks silly and based on the size of the wheels, I would imagine that is has about the top speed of a bicycle. Not to mention the fact that a real car, even a full-sized e-car, would tear right through this thing like it wasn't even there in an accident.

I have no desire to have any car but if I was going to have one, it certainly wouldn't be the 2nd one. I have pointed out many times that I like the VinFast V3 car, but that is about as small as I am willing to go.
