I AM WILLING, BE CLEANSED
WEDNESDAY 02
“Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, ‘I am willing; be cleansed.’ Immediately his leprosy was
cleansed.”
Matthew 8:3 (NKJV)
READ: Matthew 8:1–4
It is the will of God to heal whoever is sick or having any ailments or deformities. The leper said if Jesus was willing, He can make him clean (Matthew 8:2). The answer to his request is our text, Matthew 8:3: "THEN JESUS PUT OUT HIS HAND AND TOUCHED HIM, SAYING, I AM WILLING; BE CLEANSED. IMMEDIATELY HIS LEPROSY WAS CLEANSED."
We could see through this Bible passage that it is the willingness of God to heal and deliver whoever is being ravaged by sickness, disease, and being oppressed by the devil.
God wants you to live in health (3 John 2). He wants you to be free from every oppression of the devil (Isaiah 49:24–
26). There has never been a time that God wants any of His children to be under the oppression and torment of
the devil and his agents. Most sicknesses and diseases and afflictions are the works of the devil and those who are his agents. Even sicknesses which are referred to as natural by science, they are mostly manipulated by demons.
Most sicknesses that could be considered natural are mostly manipulated by humans who are agents of the devil, sending demons to whoever their victim is, to fester or increase the pains and affliction of the person through the sickness or disease and whatever. I may not be against medical science but the truth is that you should not put your trust in medication.
The medical people can care and do their lot, but the actual healing is effected by God through faith in Christ
Jesus’ name.
Some have been taking medication for a period of time now, but there has not been much improvement. I want to
enjoin you to believe God for your healing through Jesus’ name. He is still healing today.
As you are reading this piece, tell whatever spirit behind the affliction you are experiencing to lose his grips over
your life. Command the demon to leave. Say this now: I receive my healing now in Jesus’ name. I live in health as
from this day onwards in Jesus’ name.
If you made those confessions of faith, you should go ahead and begin to do things you were unable to do before. God wants you healed. Healing is your covenant right, because Jesus has paid for it through the stripes He received:
WHO HIMSELF BORE OUR SINS IN HIS OWN BODY ON THE TREE, THAT WE, HAVING DIED TO SINS, MIGHT LIVE FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS—BY WHOSE
STRIPES YOU WERE HEALED.”
1 Peter 2:24
READ: Isaiah 53:5
THAT IT MIGHT BE FULFILLED WHICH WAS SPOKEN BY ISAIAH THE PROPHET, SAYING: HE HIMSELF TOOK OUR INFIRMITIES AND BORE OUR SICKNESSES.”
Matthew 8:17
God wants you to live in health. Good health is your portion in Jesus’ name. Now, as you have received this
understanding and revelation, go out there today and pray with someone who may be having one ailment or another in Jesus’ name. You will see Jesus perform wonders through your hand today.
17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;
18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
Mark 16:17,18 (NKJV)
