One is a 6000 year old science, the other is a pseudo-science

If people's first impression with Astrology was the cycles it forms, instead of horoscopes, it would probably be one of the most researched sciences. But, it is the horoscopes, and the sun-sign astrology (the basics of the basics) that paints the word that most people see.

Astronomy is supposed to be this science where scientist really know where the stars are… but that is no where close to the truth. We have so many wrong assumptions in the field, that measurements are turned to meaninglessness.

Astrology gets more and more detailed the deeper you go in it. The structures are beautiful. The interactions exquisite. The meanings get more meaningful.

In Astronomy, the deeper you look, the more errors you find. We don't even have an accurate model of the motion of the planet Mercury. (Einstein's theory is only about 96% accurate) If you try to match the theories of how the universe came to be, with what you see in the stars, you can't. One leads in one direction, the other leads in the opposite direction, along many dimensions simultaneously. Wrongness in many layers.

From the surface level, Astrology appears to be a superstition, hocus pocus, a scam.
And from the surface level, Astronomy seems to be a science based on facts.
However, if you reversed these statements, you would be much closer to the truth.

Astronomy is a science?

Modern Astronomy assumes that gravity (based on mass) is what holds galaxies together.
Vera Ruben discovered that all the stars in the galaxy revolve around the center with the same angular speed. Or, the whole galaxy spins as if all the stars are glued to a plate. And she studied photos of galaxies for a decade before she reported this finding. She had to be sure before destroying the assumption that the things in the center, fly around faster than then the things further away. So, Vera Ruben announced her findings, and destroyed Galactic Physics.

To fix this/sweep it under the rug, physicists invented "Dark Matter" and "Dark Energy". The "Dark Matter" was to provide enough mass, heretofore unseen, so that the perceived orbits work with mass based gravity. However, they do not go into the very specific geometry that would allow the galaxy to rotate as one. A geometry that would prove that there was a designer and this was not random.

Further, the red shift & blue shift that astronomy relies upon have never been proven. Further, there are too many times when the shift does not match everything else we know about the celestial bodies.

I really meant it, that the more you look into astronomy, the more errors you find. And no matter how much the astronomers claim that it is all random (it happened through an explosion), there is way too much order in what we see.

Astrology is really scientific, errr, mathematical

Before computer programs did it for you, you had to do a LOT of math to create an astrological chart. It is not some wishy-washy thing that people assume it is.

The only easily computable aspect is the sun sign. (Which constellation was the sun in when you were born) because the calendar numbers do not move around that much year to year.

Everything else requires you to look up positions in a star chart, and then interpolate between the points printed therein.

Astrology is not willy-nilly, and before computer programs, you had to do all the math yourself.

Astrology is also an art.

We do not know if it is the planet creating the energy state we find ourselves in, or its the energy state that determines where the planet is.

It is just that these things go in cycles, and the planets are like hands on the clock.

The most easily recognizable cycle is the moon cycle. The crazies come out on a full moon. However, the carefully calculated crimes happen on the new moon. So says police records. Luna, the god of emotions, the god of Lunacy, is well known for driving men mad. So, on a full moon, when Luna is most in power, the Lunacy abounds.

Mercury, the god of communication, goes retrograde about four times a year. During these times, communication often breaks down or becomes difficult.

It is not that these energies cause you these problems, it is just the energy, that, at that time, you are living in. (like a fish lives in water) And so, noticing how you are affected by these energies, you can plan for them. When the sidewalk is wet, you make sure to walk carefully.

So, understanding the birth chart, and the current time chart, and how all of these energies work with each other is where the art comes in. Good readers are able to look at all of these variables and pull out the parts that are most pertinent to your life right now.

I am have seen so many scientists/astronomers go to disprove astrology… and they never come back. Astrology is really beautiful It is layers upon layers. Patterns on top of patterns. And all of its pieces make sense, and you can dive deep into each piece. And then, all the pieces go together, like a jigsaw puzzle. (not a haphazard group of pieces that, only by chance, create something like a picture, but truly, they all go together perfectly, intricately)

There are still some scientists/astronomers who like to "disprove" astrology. They have barely dipped their toe in the water, and feel they know the whole of it. The biggest example is something like this. The teacher gives out a list of words that describe a person, and points out that the paper describes each and every person. This is because, when people are presented with a list of describing words, they will find ones that describe themselves. And, if there are no bad words, then no one disagrees.

Let us take two sun signs, Cancer and Leo.

Cancer = mother/goddess energy. This person loves to take care of children. To stay at home, and take care of the family
Leo = entertainer/god energy. You know, those people that want to be on stage. The rock star. The center of attention in a room.

Think of the words that describe each. Lots of good words.
Caring, insightful, warm, mothering.
Energetic, powerful, forward moving

However, the things that are really important are that a Cancer rarely likes being on the stage. They can do it, but it is not a comfortable place for them. Leo feels trapped in the home. If there is no spotlight, the Leo usually feels depressed, without purpose. The negative words are just as important as the positive words.

It is sad that "scientists" will stoop to such deception, but i have seen it quite often.
However, the amount of negative stuff the astronomer sweeps under the rug, is a huge deception. So, i guess they are already used to it.

Astrology has been around for more than 5000 years, and is probably much older. It is used because it works. However, it is a lot of interpretation, and the one doing the interpreting has a lot to do with how much you get out of astrology reading.

Astronomy has been around a few centuries. And, if it was just measuring where a star is now, it would be very scientific and mathematically factual. But, astronomy has a bunch of myths tied to it (they call them theories) which color what we feel is the important information to look at, and what those number mean. If you believe that the universe began with a bang, then you also believe that the universe is continuing to expand, away from a single point. And then you believe red shift and blue shift point toward the center. And then you discount the numbers you get that do not agree with this assumption. And, this is what you find when you look deeply into astronomy.

It is the reason that Vera Ruben took a DECADE to release her findings. She was still blackballed by many of her fellow astronomers. And, ask yourself, before this article, did you know that all of the stars in a galaxy spin at the same rate? As if all the stars were glued to a plate? It should be THE THING written in any book on astronomy, but it is not.
