Day 1/30 || Exercise Full Body Resistance Band Workout: Beginner Friendly exercise
Today I decided to start a full body resistance band workout, which I plan to carry out for the next 30 days, I had 9 exercises, 10 reps each. The workout is a beginner level workout and needs only a band, so you can do it anywhere. 💪
The Exercises
| # | Exercise | Targets | How to do it |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Upright Raises | Shoulders and upper traps | Pull the band toward your chin, with your elbows leading |
| 2 | Hammer Grip Curls | Biceps and forearms | Keep your palms facing inward |
| 3 | Resisted Lunge | Quads, glutes, and hamstrings | Add extra balance work as you lunge |
| 4 | Shoulder Front Raises | Front shoulders | Lift straight ahead to shoulder height |
| 5 | Upper Back Row | Upper back and rear shoulders | Find a good posture by bending lower and pulling your arms upward |
| 6 | Overhead Squat | Legs, core, and shoulders | Challenges your mobility |
| 7 | Squat and Press | Legs and shoulders together | Squat down, then press up |
| 8 | Squats | Quads, glutes, and core | Classic squat with the band |
| 9 | Squat and Reverse Fly | Legs and rear shoulders | Squat, then pull the band apart |
Why I Chose the Resistance Tube Band
I chose resistance tube bands because they are cheap, portable, and easy on the joints, and they work your whole body. That makes them a great start for beginners at home.
What every Beginner's should know: Always keep your core tight and move slowly.
