I went to special sports event. It was a Mid-Autumn Festival themed pickleball event called "Over the Moon - Dinking with you" held at NUSS Kent Ridge Guild House. When I arrived, the indoor sports hall was already buzzing with energy. They set up a registration table with a bright yellow tablecloth, and right next to it was this beautiful hand-painted pink signboard on an easel. It had cute little bunnies holding pickleball paddles drawn on it. If you didn't know, "dinking" is actually a very important soft shot in pickleball where you hit the ball gently over the net. So the event name "Dinking with you" is a super clever play on words.

我参加了一场特别的体育赛事。那是一场以中秋节为主题的匹克球赛事，名为“Over the Moon - Dinking with you”，在国立大学协会肯德岗会所举行。当我到达时，室内馆里已经热闹非凡。登记处铺着亮黄色的桌布，旁边还放着一块立在画架上的手绘粉红色看板，上面画着拿着匹克球拍的可爱小兔子，非常用心。如果你不知道的话，“dinking”（轻吊球）其实是匹克球里一个非常重要的技术球，就是轻轻把球打过网。所以活动名字“Dinking with you”真的是个超级聪明的谐音双关语。

Players were already warming up. I went to register.

球员们已经开始热身了。我去登记了。

Found my partner. Another team was also wearing orange.

找到了我的搭档。另一支队伍也穿了橙色。

I went to find a court to warm up too.

我也去找球场热身。

Since it was a Mid-Autumn celebration, some of the players really got into the festive spirit! Some even wore cute bunny ears and carried a traditional paper lantern. Everyone was laughing and having a great time!

既然是庆祝中秋，有些球友可是非常投入节日气氛的！有人甚至戴着可爱的兔子耳朵，手里提着传统的纸灯笼在蓝色的球场上跑来跑去。大家都笑得合不拢嘴！

Before the games begin, we took a group photo. Looking at all the big smiles, colorful sports outfits, lanterns, and paddles, you can feel how sports can bring the community together so beautifully.

比赛开始前，我们拍了一张合影。看着大家灿烂的笑容、五彩缤纷的运动服、灯笼和球拍，你真的能感受到运动是如何把社区美好地凝聚在一起的。

I spotted one team with rabbit ears and tails.

我看到一队长着兔耳朵和尾巴。

I started playing my first match at 9.30am. After that, got a little present for answering a quiz.

我第一场比赛是早上9：30开始的。之后，答题题还拿了个小礼物。

I played 3 matches and went for the food. Ate quite a bit but my partner told me we still have to play for 3rd and 4th placing. Oh no, I ate too much already.
