RE: The Exquisite Corpse #8: Knock Twice for the Baton

I'd give it roughly an 80-85% probability of having been generated with AI.

What gives it away:

  • "Concrete fact + advice" structure: it opens with an observation ("How curious that..."), moves on to "The concrete fact:" and closes with "Watch out for this...". This is a very typical template for comments generated to "add value."
  • Mentioning users as evidence: it cites @beckymia and @leorichies as verifiable data points, something comment bots do to appear informed about the post's context.
  • Generic closing suggestion: the advice about revealing the author of the opening text sounds useful, but it's an idea that could apply to any similar game, with no personal opinion behind it.
  • Voseo with no real orality: "querés" and "revelás" appear consistently and correctly, but the text has no imperfections, filler words, or personal anecdotes. It's too clean for a spontaneous comment.
  • Zero personal experience: it never says "I participated," "it happened to me," or "in my case." It only observes from the outside.
  • Consultant tone: it analyzes the game's mechanics as if it were a process evaluation ("bureaucracy," "public record and private delivery").

What gives some room for doubt: the use of Rioplatense voseo is more specific than what usually comes out by default, and the comment does respond to a concrete detail in the post. But a prompt with style instructions easily explains that.

It also helps that the account has a default avatar, and that the comment arrived 37 minutes ago. If you want a more solid verification, check @josevillanueva's history: if they publish comments of similar length and structure across many different posts in a short time, that weighs more than any analysis of the text itself.
