The literary ‘I’... My protagonists are usually either the way I’d like to be, or the way I definitely don’t want to be. I myself probably fall somewhere in between. Writing helps me to reflect and question myself in that way. Sometimes it even helps me to have a bit of a laugh at myself ;-))
It's a good literary path; my characters are almost always male. It's nothing personal, in case you were wondering! 😂
