While I wait, I play 1-on-1.

Yesterday, I decided to pass the time with a game of SteemLudo. This time, however, things were different: I decided to invite my cousin to play, as I could see she was online.

As the game began, expectations were high regarding what the experience would be like; each player started positioning their pieces on their respective starting squares, aiming to devise a quick strategy to dominate the course right from the first few dice rolls—that was certainly what I wanted.

In the early rounds, the dynamic remained fairly even, with both my cousin and me making cautious moves. Every roll of the dice created tension, as advancing meant leaving ourselves exposed to rivals who were already beginning to close in dangerously on key spaces.

However, as the game progressed, complications and unexpected twists began to arise—bad luck for me; a couple of unfortunate rolls caused some pieces to be captured just before reaching safe zones, forcing me to restart the journey from base, from scratch, and completely altering the course of the game.

Despite the bad luck and my cousin's strong moves, the tension of the game never let up; there were moments when she capitalized on every favorable die roll to climb the rankings and accelerate her push toward dominance.

The images I’m sharing clearly show these pivotal moments: from the initial deal at the virtual table and the most intense exchanges, to the final plays where my opponent's luck and precision ultimately determined the podium spots.

All in all, it was a highly entertaining gaming experience for a first-timer, and it made the wait fly by. Congratulations to @rebe.torres12; she played well and had plenty of luck—she practically wiped the floor with me. I’ll be looking for a rematch next time.
