Hello, my lovely friends! This morning I woke up early, washed my face, brushed my teeth, and got dressed. Afterward, I had a glass of water, then picked up my prayer book, clasped my hands together, and recited the prayers until the end. I don't know how long it took, but I know the morning felt very peaceful. The children are still sleeping. Today is my birthday, which I've celebrated over 40 years ago. Normally, there would be a cake and candles in the evening, but since my mother-in-law passed away, everything has been quiet. There haven't been any birthday celebrations anymore. But we can choose to be happy and live our lives in our own way. So today, I planned to take the children out for a meal, then go to a temple to make merit, and finally take them out to play. Oh, I forgot to mention that after I finished praying, I called my mother in Thailand. While I was about to tell her I loved her, tears welled up in my eyes; it was so touching and a little embarrassing, haha. It's been a long time since we last saw each other, since I moved to Malaysia to live with my husband. My mother gave me good wishes, I told her I loved her, and I didn't forget to thank her for giving birth to me. Isn't that touching? Haha, but I actually teared up.

10:00 AM. We showered and got dressed, making plans to have lunch near the shrine and then go up to the shrine at the top to make merit so we wouldn't have to travel far. After that, we planned where to take the kids for a trip after we finished making merit.

We went up to the shrine at the top to make merit; the atmosphere was wonderful, with a cool, refreshing breeze. After we finished praying, my children and I sat at the shrine for almost half an hour without rushing to go anywhere.

After sitting there for quite a while, it was time to take the kids to the mall. Don't be surprised that every time we take the kids out, it's always a mall. I think this area is too central, so most things are malls; it's very difficult to find places to take the kids to enjoy nature. Today, we went to a mall where there was a children's music competition. The mall was especially lively. My daughter watched for a while, then they went inside to browse the various shops. Most of them were toy stores, as is typical for children. When it was time, it was my turn to treat myself – I took my husband to a coffee shop, and the kids came along because she wanted a refreshing cold drink in the air-conditioned atmosphere. We sat there for quite a while, drinking coffee and chatting, until it was time to take the kids for a walk in front of the mall, where there was a nice area to stroll and enjoy the view.

Until 7:00 PM today, we decided not to cook for ourselves. So, we hadn't been home since we left the house, and the last place we went was a restaurant. It's one of my favorite restaurants, and today was a special day for me, so my husband let me choose whatever I wanted without objection. I chose a simple meal at a crowded restaurant because the food is usually delicious, the place is clean, the service is quick, and the prices are reasonable. After finishing our meal, it was time to go home. That concluded my small birthday celebration with my family. Before leaving, my daughter asked to buy another piece of bread for me and my family. It seems the kids are eating a lot lately, but I'm happy about that. Thank you, friends, for reading my article. I hope you enjoyed it. See you again in the next article. Bye for now!
