STEEM4SNAKE 🐍 | Season: 02 – Legends Never Die Powered by @friends.witness Day-1

After a long day of office work and the associated hustle, we all look for some form of entertainment to unwind. Today, after returning home from work and freshening up, I was wondering what to do when the idea of playing this new game crossed my mind. The game is called 'Squad Snake,' a decentralized battleground built on the Steem blockchain. It allows you to form a squad or team with friends and play together.

Upon returning home, I logged into the game. A dashboard screen appeared first, displaying my user ID (limon88) and an option to connect my wallet. Next came an invitation to enter the 'Worm Arena.' Here, the gameplay takes place on a large grid where you navigate your squad. You can enter solo or form a team with friends. I decided to create a lobby, so I clicked the 'Go To Lobby' button. Once in the lobby, I saw a group set up for four players, with me designated as the team leader. Although there was an option to invite three other players to my team, I decided to start the match alone and clicked the 'Start Match' button.

Before the match begins, you get the chance to choose a skin for your snake. I named my snake 'Neon Light.' Then, I entered the arena. The primary objective of the game is to grow in size. You start as a small snake and must increase your length by consuming energy scattered across the grid or by eating other snakes. As you grow longer, your score increases as well. If your snake collides with the grid boundaries or another snake, you are eliminated.

The rules of the game are very simple and resemble the classic Snake game. You have to maneuver your snake strategically to attack smaller snakes. You can encircle other snakes, and when they touch your snake, they transform into energy.

Since larger snakes can also trap you, it is important to play carefully. In my first match, my snake reached a length of 354, and I earned one Snake Coin. At the end of the game, the score was saved to the global leaderboard. I decided to play again; in the second match, my snake grew to a length of 577, and I earned two coins.

Your final standing on the leaderboard represents the result of the game. In the 'Global Matrix,' you can view the scores and seasonal rankings of all players. I participated in Season 2, achieving a high score of 1063. Playing this game was truly refreshing; it is simple yet exciting. You can play it alone or with your friends whenever you like.
