How Can Science Ignore Truth Simply Because They Cannot See?
Not only did they break science into physics and metaphysics. (incorrectly so) But, then they went and ignored truths and facts. Swept it under the rug. Shouted that it couldn't exist. Because these things exist outside their paradigm.
Modern Materialistic Science shouts, if we can't see it, it doesn't exist. While showing everyone how germs were found to exist when we used microscopes
And we did this with radio waves, radioactivity, infrared, ultraviolet, and many other things.
What is worse is that there are things that we all know exist, but can't really be measured. We know that consciousness exists. But, we really cannot measure it. We can't even "scientifically" define it. And don't even get started on dreams. Something that everyone has, and all that science says it that it is a delusion.
Science also won't touch the "placebo affect". Although all medical tests/trials HAS TO account for it. We all know it is real, but not according to Modern Materialistic Science.
It is really annoying that science says "you can't prove that", while taking as fact things that are not proven, and often completely wrong. They also ignore a pile of evidence because they can't measure it
NDEs and OBEs
This is a place where wrong assumptions, and beliefs, and "science" turning a blind eye to something, all come together.
A nurse started cataloging and publishing into books, people's NDEs (Near death experiences) Now she has thousands of experiences written down. So many that say almost the exact same thing. But this isn't enough "proof" for "science".
And the OBEs (out of body experiences) recorded by the same nurse, which tell of experiences that were happening in the operating room, while the body was out cold, provably unconscious. These sights seen while in the OBE are often verified. Yes, the nurse said this, the doctor did that. And the person on the table shouldn't know any of it.
The stories are legion. The corroboration immense. And what does Modern Materialistic Science say? That it was a hallucination. Isn't this just an insult to our intelligence?
When science invents a way to see
What really sucks is that in the future, science will invent ways to measure what is going on in the above situations.
And, will science apologize to the people for ignoring and throwing away their lived experiences? Most likely not.
Will science admit that they were wrong when all their assumptions about the brain turn out to be wrong? Well, they haven't in the past. In fact, they usually dig a deeper hole, while avoiding any accusations of wrong doing.
Will Carl Sagan apologize when he learns that his neighbor really has an "invisible fire-breathing dragon" in his garage? Will science use Carl's long, twisted, logical sounding essay as a course in teaching about the fallacies of jumping to conclusions that are only supported by assumptions? I doubt it.
The big questions: God's existence
As we explore the universe, throw out the Modern Materialistic Science, for a much more sound, and actually scientific science, we are going to find that Physics and Metaphysics are not separate, but a continuum.
And we will discover ways of see and thus proving things that scientists scoffed at for years.
The thing is, that as this goes over the line we defined as "metaphysics" things get closer and closer to the point where you prove God's existence. (not sure if we will get there, but we will get closer, and that will scare a lot of people)
Atheist base their whole existence on "God isn't real" and "We are being logical/scientific". Their lives will probably crumble when they are shown to not be very logical. And their science bunk. And, really, what do you say when so many people say "God exists" and aliens come down and visit Earth, and say, "God exists"
Right now, Atheists really believe that believing in science means not believing in God. You put one hole in this belief structure, and we will see Atheists all over the world falling apart.
(BTW, our planet is really based on free will. And one of the most important things is the ability to not believe in God. This, literally, and logically means that "science" cannot prove that God exists. Not by that logic)
Some of the most important advancements in science will come from looking into these areas where Modern Materialistic Science has said "don't go there"
We will completely redefine the terms used for describing life.
Consciousness studies will lead to huge breakthroughs in logic, mathematics, understanding of ourselves.
So, look forward to a whole new science. One that doesn't sweep inconvenient truths under the rug.
