Dairy Game: 21/08/2026 - A Busy Friday

Good day steemfam. It's another day and episode of my dairy and I'm so excited to share it with you all. So it was a Friday today was exactly a week since I travelled back home to my family after the strike was declared. A week ago this was me on my journey home. It still felt like only yesterday but it was already a week and I was enjoying my stay at home.

The past one week had been very busy. I had visited friends I haven't seen in a while. I also met up with a good friend who was mentoring me on how to grow my facebook account and get monetized. I had also lost an uncle last week and we had done his funeral. So much had happened within a week and my Friday was also a bit busy.

Today I started my day with laundry. We were still in the rainy season but today there was a little sign of the sun and I was happy because I wanted my clothes to dry quickly. I did laundry for my mom and I. After laundry I cooked and cleaned the house. I couldn't take any pictures because it totally skipped my mind and my phone was also having some issues. Lately I had to turn it off to charge because most times if it was turned on to charge it wouldn't charge. This was me trying to fix it a bit as I wasn't financially capable of taking it to the repair shop.

It managed to charge a bit and I spent the day watching some series before it started acting up in the evening again. I managed it make it start charging properly after my little DIY fixing. It no longer charged backwards and it no longer needed to be off to charge fowards. Much later in the evening a family friend and his wife who were like family to us came around and they took me and my elder sister out for some drinks. It was my sister's birthday days back and they decided to take her out tonight and luckily for me, I was asked to tag along.
