Animal Activities #84

In Akpata village, there is a green forest beside the biggest River in the village, and close to the river site Mr. John's house is closer to the river side which he built his pig house so close to the riverside.
Among Mr. John's pigs, there is a particular pig named Kick that loved exploring places. Whenever it was morning, Kick would leave the rest of the pigs behind and go somewhere new, while the rest would wake up and begin to search for food in the riverside area.
One day, Kick found a very small bird with an injured wing sleeping close to the river. The bird was tired, frightened, and unable to fly. Kick gently carried the small bird on his back and kept it warm with dry leaves. Kick shared his food with the bird and stayed close to the bird all night.
After some days, the small bird regain it strength and became stronger. It then flew into the sky, circled above Kick, and sang happily for Kick. From that day onwards, each time Kick went to explore places, the bird would fly above him like a guide. People in the village began to admire Kick. The villagers then realised that Kick was not strange for being too curious, and he became special because he had a good heart.
After some days, Kick then learned that the greatest adventure is not in finding new places, but in helping others along the way to achieve their aim.
