Through a contest. today I have got to write a topic about animal reproduction. which will blow your mind. How do animals reproduce? What is used in sperm to reproduce animals? This information is also very important for all of you. Let's start. Let's move on to today's post.

"🍁Artificial insemination🍁"

Artificial insemination refers to collecting the sperm of a male animal, i.e. semen, in a laboratory and inserting it into the reproductive system of a female animal with the help of a device. There is no direct contact between the male and the female animal. In simple words, making an animal pregnant with the help of a doctor/expert instead of using nature's method. How is the process done? Semen collection: Semen is taken from a good breed male animal and is tested in the laboratory and stored. It is kept in liquid nitrogen at -196°C. One male's semen can be used for hundreds of female animals. Testing of the semen*: When the female animal comes into "heat" i.e. is ready to give birth, the expert tests it. Inserting the semen After that, the semen is placed in the appropriate place in the female's uterus with special devices.

1 Importance of artificial insemination in agriculture / livestock

This technology is very beneficial for an agricultural country like Pakistan:

This is the biggest advantage. A high-quality bull or ram. which is very expensive and lives far away. can have its semen sent all over the country. This will make the cows give more milk and the buffaloes will have a better breed.

###🍁 2: Disease Prevention🍁
Many diseases are transmitted from one animal to another by natural mating. In artificial insemination. since the animals do not mate. the risk of spreading diseases is greatly reduced.

###🍁 3 :Cost Reduction🍁
Raising a male animal is very expensive. It needs food, housing and care. With artificial insemination. the farmer does not need to keep an expensive male. He can impregnate his cow/buffalo by just buying semen.

If there is no good male animal in your area. you do not need to take it to another city. Frozen semen can be ordered and used at any time.

The semen of the males of the breeds that are disappearing can be saved in the semen bank to save the future generations.

In this way. thousands of children can be produced from a good male in a single year. while in the natural way he can produce only a few children.

Artificial insemination is a "breeding revolution" in agriculture. It provides the farmer with more milk. more meat and better-bred animals at a lower cost. That is why today. government and private institutions are going village to village to provide this facility.
