Four friends chase him.
They stumble, they shout.
Chocolate falls like tears.
"Give him back!"
He holds their friend tight.
He will not stop.
But small legs don't stop either.
They will catch that jar.

This is such a funny one, but if you ate the cookies that jar doesn't have to run. It is a mean jar if you ask me. It eats what it should hold and keep save for cookie-thieves.

An interesting idea, bolstered by poetry, opens up a "jar" for us—a way to make sense of what’s going on :)
It also kind of resembles a jar that protects its contents from botulism-causing bacteria, lol—though I certainly hope that won’t be among the themes for any future challenges, should they continue in November :)
