Stroke by stroke, delving into the darkness

Creating these works helps me express my darker side and my attraction to the sinister. When I draw, I try to capture on paper the terrifying atmosphere evoked by the mystery of fear.

I created this image hoping to delight you with the wonder of fear. This sketch represents the mixture of wonder and desolation that arises when one confronts the unknown.

Drawing these elements gives me the opportunity to immerse myself in the atmosphere of dread I feel among dark tunnels filled with tombs and skulls. Fear is one of the most intense emotions we human beings experience.

The process of creating all these tombs and crosses helps me exorcise some of the tension that fills my stomach.

I believe that artistic creation is a good opportunity to explore other aspects of our character that we don't just show to others. Exploring all those unsettling thoughts that arise as the shadows advance is fantastic, though also terrifying.

For my own good, I need to sit down with my favorite pencil and paper and delve into the terror that the thought of fear evokes in me. My pencil offers me the chance to revel in my own world, made up of the darkest and most terrifying parts of my being.
