It has more in common with 'The Scream' and if it comes to madness nearly every artist suffers from it due to one reason or another.
In a way it reminds me of the female artist I saw yesterday at the Arnhem Museum.
It surprises me you see faces in your dreams you can paint. I only hear messages.

Actually, I hadn't associated my illustration with the famous artwork "The Scream," because it's my inspiration. I always try to create something original without copying, but since you mention it, both the melancholy and the colors do reveal a connection.
My dreams reveal many images, and I've tried to visually represent some of them.
I used SteemCurator because I started with fragments of my own work.

I didn't meant to say that you copied the Scream or anything else. It just reminded me of that painting and since you know it too our unconscious will for sure also add what we see, feel and experience to our dreams, behaviour and how we create.
