Incredible India Monthly Contest of September#1: Growth
Hello everyone in the Incredible India community! I am happy to join this meaningful contest today. Growth is a topic that touches every single one of us, and I am glad to share my humble thoughts on what it really means to grow.
To me, growth simply means moving forward step by step, even when things are not perfect. It is not about reaching a final destination overnight or waking up one day as a completely different person. Instead, growth is a gradual process where you look back at where you were yesterday and realize you have learned something new today.
Looking at the picture I shared above, you can see a side-by-side comparison of myself in 2024 versus 2026. In 2024, I was much younger, still trying to figure out many things about life.
Growth isn't just about looking older or taller in photos; it is about the lessons you gather along the way. For instance, when I started learning practical skills like graphic design or taking on academic challenges in school, I made so many mistakes at first. But every failed attempt taught me patience. That gradual improvement over time is what I call true growth.
In my view, growth comes in several key forms, and they all work together to shape who we are:
- Physical Growth: This is the most visible kind of growth. It is how our bodies change, grow taller, and gain strength as time passes, just like the physical changes between my 2024 and 2026 photos.
- Mental and Intellectual Growth: This happens when we learn new skills, gain knowledge, and understand how to solve complex problems. When I first started working with design tools like CorelDRAW and Photoshop, I struggled a lot. But through continuous practice, my mind expanded, and I learned how to process ideas much faster.
- Personal and Emotional Growth: This involves becoming more patient, understanding yourself better, and handling challenges with a calm mindset. It means learning from past mistakes without letting them break your spirit.
- Financial and Professional Growth: This is about acquiring practical life skills, building a career, and learning how to manage resources wisely so you can support yourself and your loved ones.
Yes, I strongly believe that real growth depends heavily on willingness. While physical growth happens naturally as time passes, personal, mental, and professional growth will never happen if a person is unwilling to make an effort.
Growth requires action. If you want to master a new skill, write better, or build a successful career, you must be willing to put in the time and face the difficulties that come with it. For example, when building a small project from scratch using wood or trying to master difficult accounting principles, there were moments I felt like giving up. But because I was willing to sit down, focus, and try again, I was able to learn and improve. Time will pass no matter what, but whether you grow during that time depends entirely on your willingness to learn and push forward.
Growth is a lifelong journey of continuous improvement rather than a search for perfection. Every small effort we make daily adds up over time to turn us into better versions of ourselves.
Thank you very much to the Incredible India team for organizing this inspiring contest! I would like to invite my friends @maryam86, @woka-happiness, and @josepha to also join in and share their entries.
Best regards to everyone

Dear @dannyben39 your post contains plagiarized content. Please avoid plagiarism and make sure to write original content in the future.
Good day ma, I sincerely appreciate you bringing this to my attention. However, I am honestly surprised by this review because I did not use AI to write this post. I wrote it myself based on my own thoughts and understanding of the topic.
I would also like to respectfully ask how we can be certain that a detector result proves that someone used AI? Since many people are participating in the same contest and answering the same questions, it is possible for different people to use similar words or expressions, especially when the topic itself is common.
I am not saying this to argue with you or disrespect your observation. I am only trying to understand because I know the process I personally went through while writing my entry. If there is another way to verify originality, I am completely open to it. I can explain my ideas, how I arrived at them, and why I wrote them the way I did.

Thank you for your explanation. I understand that you wrote your own post the result of an AI detector alone is not always conclusive evidence, but during moderation, if a post shows a strong similarity or indication of AI-generated content, it cannot be ignored. Your willingness to explain your writing process and ideas is appreciated we make decisions based on originality and community rules.”
It would be better to personally check your post for AI-generated content once before publishing it.
