Since I was born, I have been seeing various days full of different days. Even if I did not understand after birth, as my intelligence grew, I had a slight idea about the days. Why are these days celebrated? However, now it seems that no developed country in the world celebrates as many days as we Bengalis celebrate. Sometimes, we see some days that do not have any specific meaning or purpose. Yes, of course, we need to celebrate some days for which we have regained our own freedom or for a special person. But some day is celebrated 365 days a year, be it in a government or private or institutional way. Anyway, that's not the point. It's not that I don't celebrate these days. I myself celebrate or participate in different days at different times.

Last September 1, 2026, my beloved campus Duet had its birthday. You might say, how can a university have a birthday? In fact, on September 1, 2003, the name of BIT was changed to Duet. That is why every year the Duet administration celebrates this day with great pomp. Various programs are organized around the day. Students, teachers, and staff celebrate this day with joy. The entire campus is decorated with lighting before this day. In addition, all the trees on the campus are colored with different colors. This time too, the campus is decorated very beautifully on the occasion of "Duet Day". Then at the beginning of the day, sweets are served to all the students by the Duet administration. Then the VC hoisted the national flag and everyone took out a rally together. At the end of the rally, a big cake was cut and the day was celebrated.

Then various programs started after noon. In this, the Dean held various programs including awarding awards, discussion meetings. Through all these formalities, a bond was formed between the teachers and students. At the end of the day, the cultural program started after evening. A concert was organized. Where four big music bands came. In addition, the university students also showed various activities. The day was celebrated with joy by all the students. This cultural program went on almost the whole night. I was walking around after the evening because I don't really like such programs. After eating sweets in the morning and participating in a little rally, I picked up something with my friends and went home. Then before noon I went to the campus with a younger brother. And at night I walked around a little with my wife.

However, every year on this day, a genji is given to everyone in the university, but this time it was not done. The issue has raised questions for most of the students. Whatever the issue, this was the first Duet Day celebration after joining the university. It was a lot of joy and you can say emotion. I thought that I would share the day with you on the 1st to make it memorable. But due to lack of time, I didn't do it. That's why I shared it with you even though it is late.
