Welcome, everyone, to the new challenge of this season. Just as always, I will try to discuss the topic presented today. How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well. When I first read the question for today's challenge, my initial thought was, "I don't have a garden of my own; what should I write about?" Then I realized that even without a current garden, I could certainly describe the kind of garden I would like to have in the future—a point that was actually already suggested in the prompt itself, which I found quite appealing. So, today I am sharing some thoughts about my dream garden with you all. I don't know how you will find it, but I hope you enjoy it.

In Bangladesh, having trees and plants around one's home is quite common. Our country is lush and green, filled with trees and a variety of gardens everywhere. We have several types of fruit trees at our home as well, including mango, guava, lychee, lemon, and starfruit. Growing up, these trees seemed like ordinary things to me. However, living away from home now, I have come to realize the true value of these familiar trees—something I feel deeply in my heart.

I miss home the most during the fruit season. Hearing news from home—that the mangoes are bearing fruit, the lychees have arrived, or the guavas are starting to ripen—makes me wish I could be there. The joy of picking and eating fruit straight from the tree is something you simply cannot get from buying it at a shop; we all know that. Anyway, there is nothing I can do about what isn't currently in my destiny, but perhaps if the opportunity arises again someday, I will be able to enjoy the fruit from those familiar, beloved trees once more.

However, friends, if I ever get the chance to create my own garden in the future, I don't plan on making a massive one. I simply want to plant a few trees of my choice in whatever space is available next to the house. I would start by planting a mango tree, followed by guava, lychee, and lemon trees. I definitely want to include a starfruit tree as well, as this fruit is familiar to me from my own home and tied to many childhood memories. Of course, I intend to plant the varieties I am already familiar with.

Alongside fruit trees, I also want to grow some vegetables—something my father currently does on a small scale at home. However, I have a desire to expand this cultivation and develop the garden further by growing crops like chili peppers, tomatoes, eggplants, Malabar spinach, and other easy-to-grow vegetables. It would be wonderful to produce some vegetables right on my own property. I would really enjoy the experience of picking a chili or a lemon from my own garden while cooking.

Yet, the primary reason for wanting a garden isn't just to harvest fruit or vegetables; I want to create a peaceful atmosphere. The mere thought of sitting by the garden with a cup of tea after a long day of work feels delightful. It would be a place where the whole family could sit and chat—some watering the plants, others clearing away weeds. Even if the space is small, it could become a source of joy for the entire family.

I know that simply planting trees doesn't create a garden; it requires regular care. Plants need watering, monitoring for pests, and timely maintenance. I might not get everything right at the beginning, but I can learn as I go.

Currently, I don't have a garden of my own, yet I hold a clear picture of it in my mind. It will feature mango, guava, lychee, lemon, and starfruit trees. There will be some vegetables, a bit of open space, and a small area where the family can sit together.

I want to share this vision. What could be more beautiful than a garden like that? It doesn't have to be grand—just a small, green space created with my own hands, a place that truly feels like my own.
