Share your thoughts about Success

Everyone wishes for success, but I feel that each person defines success in his own way. Some people define success as being wealthy and owning an elegant home or a fancy car.

Some people define success as merely providing for themselves and enjoying themselves. In my view, success shouldn’t solely be based on what we’ve accomplished in life, but more importantly, who we are when we try to accomplish our goals. Some days, you need all the guts to get out of bed and try again.

To me, it’s clear how, as children, we used to talk about what we wanted to become in the future. While some people wished to become doctors or teachers, or businessmen/businesswomen, others wished to make their parents proud of them. As we grew older, we came to realize that success wasn’t always easy to come by.

But sometimes it happens that everything works out not quite well for us, and we start having doubts.

Still, what I have understood is that failing is not equal to being unsuccessful. The main thing here is to realize our mistakes and continue moving. The one who hasn't realized his dream is still on his way.

My own definition of success is to become somebody whom I can be proud of, to be able to provide myself and my loved ones, and to have the right to choose my path.

I am quite aware of the fact that these things cannot be achieved instantly and that is why patience and consistency are very important.

Each step forward no matter how small it may seem is important as long as we are approaching our target. Personally, I would prefer to move even in small steps than stop just because my pace of development seems too slow to me.

Success is not the competition and the attempt to prove something. The main thing in success is to look back on my past and see that I've changed.
