Beyond the Obvious: My Answers to Five Questions That Challenge My Thinking
1️⃣ Friendship and Gratitude: If you help a friend during their difficult times, but they forget you when they become successful, what does true friendship mean to you?
True friendship means helping each other during difficult times. True friendship means a lot of things, which are supporting each other, standing for each others and caring for each others both in good and hard time. True friendship requires both friends to be supportive of each other and not just one person benefiting from the friendship.
For example, if my friend is in need today, supporting her shouldn't be something that I should complain about, and she should also be able to support me when I am in need romo. Rescuing each other is what true friendship means.
2️⃣ Money or Peace: Would you rather be very wealthy without peace of mind or live a simple life filled with peace and happiness? Why?
Both money and peace are important. For now, I will choose to have peace of mind and live a simple life filled with peace and happiness.
There is joy that comes with having the desire for the peace of mind that he or she wants in life. If I have peace of mind and happiness, I would look fresh and healthy despite having too much money, and where people find sadness, I will find happiness.
3️⃣ Trust and Forgiveness: If someone betrays your trust and later sincerely apologizes, would you give them another chance? Explain your answer.
If someone betrays my trust and later sincerely apologizes, I would give them another chance if it is their first time betraying my trust, but if it is not their first time, I would just tell them that I have forgiven them and nothing should come between us again. To forgive, I will forgive, but to accept them back again as friends is what I cannot do.
4️⃣ Honesty or Success: If dishonest people become successful faster than you, would you remain honest or change your approach? Why?
I would change my approach. Nowadays, honest people suffer a lot, whereas dishonest people succeed because of their way of life.
However, success is not only measured by being honest or dishonest; it is measured by our efforts, perseverance, and determination. Being honest would make people trust me and genuinely work with me.
5️⃣ The Meaning of Success: Can someone become rich, famous and successful but still fail in life? Explain your opinion.
Success is the celebration of achievement and being successful means having financial freedom, and others. Yes, someone can become rich, famous, and successful but still fail in life.
Some people fail in relationship, marriage, businesses, and academic which being successful, famous and rich doesn't mean one would pass all of these.
