The Diary Game:[06/10/2026] cooking indomie noodles washing plates, squeezing bitter leaf and cooking egusi (melon soup).
hello everyone welcome to another episode of my diary session still remains @johnpology, today was a very amazing day,I stopped going to work cause I felt cheated and not my field,I want to focus on education and more of building myself, let me take you to my lifestyle.during morning hours,I brought out my pot broke my indomie noodles in it added water then placed it on the fire to parboil, most at times I cook it without parboiling but it's not nutritious, after some minutes I removed it, washed it out of the whitish water and placed on the sive.
so I brought a neat pot added vegetable oil onion and the indomie noodles spices, then I began to fry together after frying them,I added my parboiled noodles and stirred together, this is the best so yummy, the aroma was so attractive, after my indomie was done and ready I brought it out from the gas fire, brought a plate and served myself, this indomie noodles is just for the morning to cure appetite.
after eating I was a bit dizzy so I packed my dirty plates went out my house and packed them outside,I didn't wash them on my sink cause my kitchen was not properly in place it was scattered and stuffy,it was so uncomfortable, and some unpleasant odour was coming out from there,I added water and detergent to my bowl and began washing the plates, after washing them I rinsed them packed them inside and arrange properly.
I couldn't go to the market so I gave a neighbor who was going over there some money to buy me some stuffs that I will use to cook my egusi (melon) soup, she didn't waste much time in the market she came back and handed my goods over to me I was thankful,so I brought out my bitter leaf parboiled it,to remove the bitter liquor from it, after parboiling it I tried to squeeze it out but it was still bitter,so I had to reparboil it the second time, then squeezed it out and put on a sive.
then I brought out the pot I used to parboil the bitter leaf washed it the remove it's bitter taste,I then added palm oil to the pot added onions, crayfish and my other preferred seasonings, then I allowed to steem together then I added my egusi (melon) seed,it was already grounded in the market so that made it easier, after about 6-7 minutes I added my washed bitter leaf and stirred together, the aroma was so good but I haven't tasted it,so I off the gas cooker cause the soup was ready.
then I put water in a kettle and placed on fire,it boiled I poured them out in a plate added my processed cassava flour (garri),and began to turn them together with a wooden turner, the hot water made it mud, this is called eba, then I served out soup from my pot to my plate,I noticed that the bitter leaf was so much in my soup,I didn't put the quantity required I poured all of them in my soup,I sat down and enjoyed the meal despite the soup was much more salty Than I expected, it was an amazing meal and a great day.
Conclusion
I don't blame myself for putting so much bitter leaf and salt to my soup, cause men are not entitled to cook in Nigeria, but I still try to put up somethings. Let's keep up going I still remains @johnpology love to all❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹.

I enjoyed your post that you have cooked indomie noodles for your self, looks so spicy and i also like noodles as well. i have saw garri (eba) and soup, the first thing garri i did not try it out so far, so don't know how the taste it will be, but i liked the soup in winter, because when you feel your self cold, so abviously you will take a cup of soap to decrease the coldness.
