Busy Day Preparing Roll Number Slips for Exams

I was very busy day yesterday. I had a lot of school work to do. Our first term exams are coming soon. The exams are going to start from 24 August 2026. So these days I am busy with exam preparation. There are many things to complete before exams. We have to prepare question papers. We also have to make roll number slips for all students. So yesterday I decide to work on roll number slips. I started my work on computer. I open Microsoft Word and start making slips. It look like an easy task at first. But when I start working on it I realize that it takes a lot of time.

Every student needs a separate roll number. Name and class also have to be correct. I also had to check the exam schedule carefully. In picture you can see the roll number slip for a Playgroup student. It has school name. Student name. Roll number. Class and exam schedule. I had to make sure that everything was written properly. A small mistake can create a problem for student during exams. So I checked the details again and again. I spent 5 hours sitting in front of computer. Sometimes I felt tired. But I knew that this work was important. Keyboard was in front of me for almost the whole day. I was typing. Editing. Checking names. Changing roll numbers and making format better.

After completing one slip I had to prepare the next one. Then another one. It was a little tiring. But when I saw slips taking proper shape I felt happy. I thought that my hard work was going in the right direction. Exams are always busy time in school. Teachers have many responsibilities. Students also start preparing seriously. Before exam day we have to complete many things. Question papers need to be prepared. Roll numbers need to be arranged. Exam schedules need to be checked. Everything should be ready before the first paper. Our exams will start on 24 August. So there is not much time left. I want everything to be ready before exam day. I do not want any confusion at last moment.

At end of day I was quite tired. My eyes were also tired after looking at computer screen for so long. Still I was happy because I complete good part of my work. Sometimes school work is not easy. There are many small things which take lot of time. But when we see the final result it gives a different kind of satisfaction. Making these roll number slips was not just computer work.
