I have been reading your posts and comments for a long time and found you always share something worth reading. In your diary you mentioned beautiful moments and activities of the day. For instance the household jobs are part of our daily life irrespective of what gender we are.
Call me feminist so even I help my wife doing house work including cleaning and for sure if you have a garden it needs to be kept free from weeds.
Besides intake of healthy items is good for health which shows how you drink and eat to remain healthy. Have a great day ahead. #s34engagement
Hello @dove11, my husband do help like yesterday he was also assisting to weeds the huckleberry in the farm garden when I was concerntrating with the other remaining ridges .I most tell you in Africa and particularly Cameroon most men have that mindset house chores in done by women .Some men see other men trying to assist their woman in house chores.As if the woman is maltreating the man or using him as slaves . This is typical of the African man, I think this notion needs to be eradicated.
That why most Africans when travel out and get married to European women .They turned to see somethings to abnormal and worth slavery .Yes they can provide all needs for the house .But sharing house chores with his wife is like a taboo.That how African men grow up.
If there is a way of this mentality to be eradicated from the African men it will good . You see a man calling his wife a bad person because mainly the wife wanted him to assist in cooking or any other house work. Am happy few men in this generation do assist .

To be frank, not in Africa but in most parts of Asia is the same but now most women in India are working and house help getting costlier they have no choice but to to help LOL. Besides I have lived in countries where house help is not available or available at a cost which will leave us broke so apart from weekly cleaning from outside we do everything on our own.
