The Diary Game[01/09/2026] A busy lockdown at the farm.
Hello friends and family members accept special greetings from this end of globe .Today is another lockdown day in my locality . This has been imposed by separatist fighters and every Mondays shops are always locked , commercial areas and everyone is bound to stay indoors .Due to the socio political crisis in our country Cameroon .
Mondays I always try to make it a busy day on my on side rather than staying in the house doing nothing .This day served us to do works that could not be done during the week. This because of the busy nature of our work schedule during week.
I was done with harvesting the corn from the farm . Grasses are grown everywhere in the farm especially the vegetable we worked . My husband and I decided to spent to day at the farm .Trying to do one or two things to put things in order .
When , I was done with some house chores we left to go to the farm .It’s just 10minutes walk from the house to the farm. We arrived the the farm and everywhere was busy . We started by weeding the farm while removing the stem of corn stock that is already dry.
My husband concerntrated in weeding and clearing the farm while. After weeded the vegetable to make sure it grows well and insects shouldn’t attack the leaves .This will helped was to have enough harvest it .Allowing with grass everything will be destroyed .
Now we consume vegetables from our farm or garden because we are sure of what we are eating. No fertilizer and everything is natural .The last thing we did in the farm is to work a portion of the farm and plant pumpkin seeds.This will enable us to have the leaves ready for consumption in one month time.

At this point we were already exshauted since is evening period.My husband and I left from the farm fufilled and happily because our day didn’t past like that .Aleast we have ensured our farm to clean and part is worked with pumpkin seeds planted . We arrived home and I freshened up .After , I looked for what we can eat and I called it day by taking a nap to rest.
My day was well spent in the farm working . I must say it was a fulfilled with no regret . At least we did alot in the farm and I think inthe days ahead it will yield more fruits .Courage and a fruitful harvest to all the farmers on this platform 🙌🙌🙌.

You write a beautiful diary and capture the moments of your life so nicely. Despite being on lockdown, your day on the farm was quite productive. I loved reading how you and your husband weeded the vegetables, removed the dried corn stalks and prepared a section of the farm for planting pumpkin seeds.
It is also great that you grow vegetables naturally on your own farm. Knowing where our food comes from and producing it yourself can be very satisfying. I hope your pumpkin leaves grow well and you have a good harvest in the coming weeks.

Thank you friend for reading my post , we have turned lockdown day to be very useful for us .Rather than just being home without doing anything .My husband and I decided to spent time in our farm ensure we do something impactful.
The previous harvest for pumpkin leaves was very bountiful and we had a lot of harvest .Hopefully this second term the pumpkins will do well. For harvesting in the coming weeks .Since , I relocated in my own house and got to the opportunity to work my farm . This is very interesting,I so much like people that engage in Agro business, farming and all of that,I no you felt bad on that day of lock down,but what i really see in you is hardworking,i didn't relaxed even with that, you and your husband make it in fatm, which is the most important thing humans should engaged.
