Sunday Vibes: Observing All Saints' Day celebration plus Sunday photos

in Steem4Nigeria • 2 days ago (edited)

Hello everyone, and a very warm welcome to my blog today!
I hope your Sunday has been wonderful and filled with peace.

Today was a really special day in church as we observed All Saints' Day. A day when we remember and honor all the saints who lived and died for the faith. In our church, there was a special instruction for the youth to dress in white and white, while the other arms and groups in the church wore their respective group uniforms. Since our youth uniform wasn't compulsory if you didn't have it, almost everyone opted for the clean and bright white-and-white attire.

After the service wrapped up, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take some pictures on our way out. I really love taking photos to capture moments. Even though I later noticed that the background on some of my solo shots turned out a bit faint and faded, I still decided to keep them just the way they are because the memories matter most!

While stepping out, I was hanging out with some good friends. In some of the photos, I took it with my friend who is an instrumentalist, he is the talented guy who handles the scanta (one of our local instruments used in the band). We also took shots with another friend of mine who is a chorister singing the soprano part. She has actually been pushing me to join the choir for a while now. While I can sing quite well, I'm just not so sure choir life is really for me!

Later on, more friends joined into the fun. One of them is a lady wearing a lovely green gown who decided to jump into the frame with us. I also took pictures with our Formal Archdeaconry youth leader, who is currently serving as a church teacher handling a local church.

It was a beautiful Sunday filled with worship, laughter, great company, and plenty of picture-taking on our way home. Sundays like this remind me of how sweet good fellowship can be.

Thank you so much for stopping by to read my post today. I wish you all a fantastic and blessed week ahead!
