Artisans play an important role in our everyday lives. From carpenters, plumbers, electricians, tailors and painters to mechanics, bricklayers and hairdressers, we often depend on their skills to get things done.

However, hiring an artisan can sometimes be an interesting experience. You may agree on a price, make payment, and expect excellent work, only to discover that the finished job is completely different from what you imagined. Sometimes there are delays, poor communication, excuses, unfinished work or unexpected additional charges.

But is the problem always with the artisans? Do customers sometimes contribute to these situations by choosing the cheapest option, failing to communicate clearly or paying without properly agreeing on the terms?

This contest gives us an opportunity to share our experiences, examine the challenges surrounding artisan services, and discuss how both artisans and customers can create a better working relationship.
