Summer is back after almost TWO inches of rain in the last 36 hours !😳😅
Ahhh……….the living is easy, at least for the time being Lol!😇
Today found Liz and Silvertop headed to Home Depot, and look what the Mrs found…………..
“Silvertop if you packaged all of your 36 Cords of firewood, and sold each for $7.97 how much would we make?”🥰
“Probably enough for 21 Million Bitcoin honey Lol!🤣😍
It’s the time of year when Home Depot starts marketing preparations for winter!☺️
If you don’t burn firewood, perhaps you have a pellet stove?😇
For $6.48 you can get a 40 lb bag of Douglas Fir wood pellets!
The only problem is when the electric grid goes down……. So does your heat for your home!😳
9AM this morning Liz stepped out of the shower……………..
Silvertop was next………….
“Uhhh…. Silvertop the power just went out!”🙄
If you have read any of Silvertop’s post, you already know we have Solar with battery backup!😎
The only 240 Volt appliances that must stay on grid power is our deep water well pump!😇
Silvertop has fixed this issue with our propane/ gas generator!😊
I procrastinated before hooking up the generator to the transfer switch………..
I checked the generator log book………
I start the generator each and every Month, but it hasn’t been needed since December 2024!😇
OK Liz I’m setting up the generator, I will grab a shower, then I will shut it down, the Sun is shining!😎
We have two close circuit cameras……… one watches our battery percentage of charge meter, so I can always check our batteries from anywhere, on line!
The second camera stays on “grid power” and monitors our hot water heat pump.
This way I can always check our Solar batteries, and when the second camera goes down…….. I know the grid electricity is down as well!😇
Seven hours later as we were driving home from a well deserved Latte and mocha, I checked the camera for our heat pump on my iPhone
“Liz… the grid power is back!”🤗
When we first moved to the Northwest, we would actually pack up and drive to a motel when the power went down………
Sometimes for three to four days!😳
“Nice Silvertop, I’m so glad we have Solar!”🥰
