THE DIARY GAME[01/11/2026] GOING TO CHURCH AND SPENDING MY DAY AT HOME.
Good evening, everyone, and a happy sunday😊. Welcome to the month of november,this month will surely bring its best out. So today was thanksgiving day in our church, and we woke up early to prepare for church. Before we started preparing for church,we had our morning devotion,we sang and sang and thanked God for the new month. After praying, I went to prepare food for us to eat. There was beans, so all I had to do was steam it. When I was done,I dished out our food. I wasn't excluded,I dished my own out alongside garri. I couldn't eat the beans alone like that.
My breakfast
When we all were done eating,we started preparing one by one for church. I had already brought my clothes out last night so that I wouldn't waste time this morning. It was already ironed,so when I had my bath,I dressed up and left the house. Not alone, though, but with my siblings and dad,mum didn't follow us because she wasn't really feeling well. So we left her at home alone to church.

When we got to church,they had already finished sunday school and worship. They were praying, so we joined them immediately. After the prayers,we gave our offerings, and we observed our praises session. It was funnnn,we all danced and danced, I mean, it was the first day of the new month and also our thanksgiving so imagine the joy and happiness we all had as we were dancing. After the praise,our pastor then preached for close to two hours. He led us in prayers immediately after praying. We then observed our second offering and thanksgiving, and then the announcer made the church announcements as usual.

We dismissed from church after we shared the grace by 2pm in the afternoon,meaning we had finished. I didn't even wait to greet or say hi to some people in the church,I just went home under the scorching sun. I trekked by the way,so imagine the kind of hot sun that dealt with me on my way home.

When I got home,i met my mum still lying down, but she was watching a facebook reel in her phone. I greeted her and asked how she was feeling, and she responded positively. I went to my room,pulled my clothes, and ran straight to the bathroom to have my bath. That was all i needed at that moment,nothing else. After i had my bath,I went to the kitchen to steam the beans so I could eat it.

When I was done,I dished out mine, and by that time, my dad and siblings were already back. So I dished out everybody's own. We all ate our beans with soaked garri except for mum who ate garri with soup. She wasn't really a fan of beans,she just eats it once in a while. One of my siblings even took an extra portion of beans,meanwhile, i didn't even finish my own.
Having lunch
We finished eating and sat down to rest before some of us went out. My dad dressed up and left the house to a meeting after eating and resting. My siblings went out to play ball, leaving me and my mum home alone. Initially my mum wanted to go out in the afternoon but she couldn't go again because she wasn't feeling well,so she stayed back at home. I decided to watch movies on my phone since I wasn't doing anything, but I didn't even know when I slept off. I then woke up when it was time to prepare dinner,as if my body read my mind because that was what I thought of before sleeping. I didn't want to prepare dinner late.
After i woke up
Since there was still beans,I steamed it a bit,dished out my siblings' own and covered them since they weren't back. Funny me,I didn't want to eat the beans again,I went for eba with soup. Everybody was literally shocked when I brought out my food and they discovered that it was eba and soup. I didn't blame their reaction at all because it was unlike me to eat that. Anyways,I still had my precious dinner while my siblings had their beans. My mum and dad ate eba with soup too.

Well,we're done eating now and we're all on our way out to take a stroll down our street. Immediately I get back,I'm so going to bed to sleep again because I need to get ready for tomorrow being another new day. Goodnight my fellow steemians.
